Going To Work Abroad

Dietary requests onboard your cruise





This has become more and more important and cruise lines are wanting this information earlier each year, as we are all very different and there are much more dietary and medical requests that passengers have, It is now very important that we as agents are told about these as early as possible, ideally at the time of booking. Cruising is the one of the most popular holiday destinations now and many more people are cruising than ever before. Cruise lines are very conscious of making sure every single person is looked after to the very best level and one of the many areas they like to succeed in is making sure all dietary and medical requirements are catered for. However they can only do this if they have been notified with enough time to pass on these direct to the ship. Many requirements include Gluten free diet, Vegetarian diet, Halal request can only eat Brussels etc etc the list is endless. So remember if you do have a special request let your agent know at the time of booking so that they can notify the cruise line straight away and give the ship the information way in advance. The last thing you don’t want to be doing is joining the ship and finding out that your requirement is not possible. These guys are amazing and will always try and accommodate every request.

NCL Adds Surcharge for Late-Night Room Service

Yes it is a headline to catch your attention but in all honestly if you read the below announcement you will find the charge is only for passengers wanting to order room service late at night, infact 1:00am in the morning. Lets face it how many of you would be wanting to eat anymore food after all the amazing choices you have already set your eyes on that would already have been included in the cruise price. I can understand where the cruise lines are coming from, there has been many a time when I used to work on ships where I would have ordered room service late at night fell asleep before the food already arrived. Think of the food wastage at this time of night, I know I have been prone to leaving most of the food I have ordered late at night and have never thought of the consequences. So at the end of the day this new change is only going to effect a very small minority of passengers.

$40 Million Facelift: Check out the lucky ship.....

Wow what an amount of money to spend on a refit, Celebrity are really sending out the big guns for this ship, I guess as it was the first in it's class they really want to look after her. I remember in the good old days a whole ship would cost this much. I have to say I am a fan of Celebrity especially it's Solstice class. I went down to visit the Equinox a couple of years ago and found it stunning.
